Happy Labor Day!

This weekend was so great because Troy's family came in town for Labor day and to celebrate his mom's birthday! Friday night the kids were waiting eagerly for Maw maw and paw paw and they were running a little later than planned so we had some fun time hanging out in the shade outside. This week we have had amazing weather and I love that it's possible to actually hang out outside again! Fall is on it's way!!!

Saturday morning we headed down to Dallas to Dealey Plaza to show them where JFK was shot. We decided not to hit up the museum as the kids were with us and they are in this stage where museums...just probably aren't a good idea:) We had a lot of fun looking around and listening to all the facts about that day and all the conspiracy theories.

After that we headed back up to downtown Mckinney, hit up one of our favorite little restaurants there and shopped some antique shops and of course the Candy store! The kids were exhausted but did so well all day!

That night we grilled steaks at our house and my parents came over and we celebrated Nabil's 25th birthday that night. I love hanging out on our patio and as I said earlier, this weather is AWESOME and it was in the 60's sitting out there. I can handle that!

Yesterday we unveiled Azlyn's refinished pink motorcycle and the kids took a ride around the block. That's a work out for sure, the bikes were on the fast mode so I had to run to catch up with them. They had a BLAST and Azlyn looked so cute on her motorcycle.
